NEET PG: Overall Exam Analysis of First 3 Days, All 6 Sessions

Here is the Overall Exam Analysis of First 3 Days of NEET PG:

 

Overall Difficulty Level - Moderate

PrepLadder conducted a poll in order to elicit the reviews of the candidates who appeared in NEET PG in the first 3 days.

66% of the candidates participating in the poll stated that the exam stood ‘Moderate’ in terms of Difficulty level.

Further, 26% candidates stated that the exam was ‘Difficult’ while 8% stated that the exam was ‘Easy’.

Overall, we can infer that the exam stood ‘Moderate’ in terms of Difficulty level as per the views of majority of candidates.

High Weight Age Subjects

The subjects that carried high weight age across all the 6 sessions on an average were Pharmacology, Pathology, PSM, Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

 

Low Weight Age Subjects

The subjects which carried considerably low weight age in 6 sessions on an average were ENT, Anesthesia and Anatomy.

 

Pattern of Questions

 ‘One-Liners’ seemed to rule all the six sessions held so far. All the sessions overwhelmingly consisted of ‘One-Liners’.

Subject-wise Marks distribution has not been strictly followed in any session so far.

 

Image-Based Questions – Substantial Weight Age

Image-Based questions have carried substantial weight age in all sessions so far. Majority of the sessions comprised 30+ Image-Based questions.

Image-Based questions so far were of ‘Moderate’ difficulty level with the exception of 5-7 ‘Difficult’ Image-Based MCQs.

 

Easy Questions but Confusing Distractors

As per the poll results, candidates usually stated that the questions were ‘Easy’, however, the distractor options were quite tricky & confusing.

Candidates reported that you are bound to make silly mistakes if you don’t read questions carefully because of the tricky distractor options.

Direct Questions from PrepLadder’s Mock Test Series
