There have been rumours that the Dental PG entrance would consist of 200 questions.

Fact: NEET PG Dental/MDS would comprise 240 questions

According to the notification released, the exam would consist of 240 questions.

 

Myth 3: The mode of the examination would be pen and paper based

There have been speculations that the NEET PG Dental exam would be conducted in pen and paper mode.

Fact: The NEET PG Dental/MDS exam would be conducted in Online Mode on a Prometric Software. 

As per the sources, the NEET PG Dental exam would be conducted in  the online mode on a Prometric Software.

Myth 4: There would be Negative Marking of -1 Mark for Each Incorrect Response

There have been rumours that the NEET PG Dental exam would have a Negative Marking of -1 Mark for each incorrect response.

Fact: There will be No Negative Marking in NEET PG Dental/MDS exam

Inside sources reveal that there would be no negative marking in NEET MDS exam.

 

Myth 5: Different Exams for Admission to Different Institutes

Earlier, AIPGDEE was conducted for admission to 50% All India Dental Quota seats. States used to conduct their own entrance exams for admission to State Dental Universities.

Private and Deemed Universities conducted their own exams to fill seats.

Fact: Single Entrance Exam for All Institutes

Sources disclose that the NEET PG Dental/MDS would now serve as the sole basis for admission to all Government and Private Dental Colleges and Deemed Universities.

This would facilitate transparency in the admission process.

 

Myth 6: NEET PG Dental/MDS would be conducted over a Single Session

There have been speculations that the NEET PG Dental would be conducted over a single session.

Fact: NEET PG Dental/MDS exam would be conducted over Multiple Sessions.

Sources reveal that the exam would be conducted in Multiple sessions ranging over a number of days.
