NEET PG Dental/MDS (NEET MDS)

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) MDS 2017 is a National level exam conducted by NBE for admission to MDS courses in various Government and Private Dental Colleges across the country.

NEET MDS will be commencing from 2017 Admission session and will be conducted in 86 test centres across 41 cities in the country.

NEET MDS 2017 will comprise 240 Multiple-choice Questions from the BDS Curriculum followed at Dental Colleges across the country.

Everything you need to know about the NEET PG Dental/MDS 2017

Prof. Bipin Batra, Executive Director, NBE stated that NEET MDS will serve as the sole gateway for admission to Post-Graduate Dental courses and no other State level or Institutional level entrance exam will be applicable from 2017 Admission session.

He added that except for AIIMS, NEET MDS will serve as a Single-window Entrance examination for admission to All India 50% Postgraduate Dental Quota Seats from the academic session 2017-18.

 

NEET MDS 2017: Eligibility Criteria 

The Eligibility Details for NEET MDS 2017 are listed below:

  • Candidates must possess BDS Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate recognized in accordance to the provisions of the Indian Dentists Act 1948.
  • Candidates must possess Permanent/Provisional Registration with the Dental Council of India (DCI).
  • Candidates must have completed One year Internship/likely to complete One year Internship on or prior to 31st March 2017.

NEET MDS 2017: Application Fees

Candidates will be required to register and schedule for the exam and pay the application fee through the Online Mode.

Note 

  • Candidates are allowed to appear only once during the Testing Window.
