NEET PG Dental/MDS (NEET MDS)

NEET MDS 2017 result has been announced and the NBE has released the All India 50% Quota Merit list.

Candidates will now have to go through the seat allotment process after the counseling session of NEET MDS 2017. Seat Allotment process will be held tentatively in March-April 2017.

NEET MDS 2017 Seat Allotment Process

Counseling and Seat Allotment process will be conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).

Seat Allotment will be conducted for all the candidates who have qualified the examination.

A Second round of seat allotment will also be conducted in case seats are left vacant after the first round.

All the eligible candidates will have to register themselves online for the Counseling & Seat Allotment process wherein candidates will be required to fill in their details & go through choice filling & choice locking of their preferred college & course.

Seats will be allotted as per the applicant’s ranking in the Merit list & their preference.

Allotment letters will be issued for all candidates who are successfully allotted seats. Successful candidates will be required to report to their Allotted Institute for Document Verification & Payment of Fees.

The seat will be confirmed only post successful verification of Documents & Payment of fees by the applicant.

An applicant can opt for up-gradation in case he/she is not satisfied with his/her allotted seat.The applicant will have to report to the allotted Institute & complete the admission procedure post which he/she can apply for up-gradation.

Failure of the applicant to report to the Allotted Institute will lead to disqualification of his/her seat and applicant will not be able to attend further counseling sessions.

Verification of Documents

Applicants will be required to carry their original documents to the Allotted Institute for verification purpose. Failure of the candidates to carry the original documents will lead to his/her disqualification from the allotment process.

Applicants are required to carry the following documents at the time of admission:

List of Documents

NEET MDS 2017 Result Card

NEET MDS 2017 Admit Card

BDS Degree Certificate

BDS 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th Professional Exam Mark Sheets

D.O.B Proof – 12th Certificate

I.D. Proof

(Aadhar Card/Voter Card/ PAN card/ Driving License/Passport)

Permanent/Provisional Certificate issued by DCI

Internship Completion Certificate

SC/ST/OBC Certificate (In case applicable)

PH Certificate (If Applicable)

Payment of Fees

Applicants will be required to pay the requisite fees at the time of admission. Payment of Fees has to be done as per the time limit set by the Allotted Institute. Failure to pay the fees within the allotted time will lead to disqualification from the admission process.

NEET MDS 2017 – Second Round of Seat Allotment

A second round of Seat Allotment will be conducted in case seats still remain vacant after the first round. Applicants who fail to get allotted in the First Round or seek up-gradation can register for the Second Round of Seat Allotment.

NEET MDS 2017 Second Round of Seat Allotment – Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria for the Second Round of Seat Allotment is as follows:

  1. Registered applicants who did not get seat allotted in the 1st Round of Counseling
  2. Registered applicants whose Reserved category seats got cancelled owing to change of Category from ‘Reserved to Unreserved’ or PH status from ‘Yes to No’
  3. Candidates who reported to the Allotted institute from the 1st Round of Counseling and submitted willingness for ‘Seat Up-Gradation’

NEET MDS 2017 Second Round of Seat Allotment – Non-Eligible Criteria

Now we present the criteria for Non-Eligibility to the Second Round of Seat Allotment:

  • Candidates who did not report to the Institute allotted in the First Round of Counseling
  • Applicants who reported and withdrawn from counseling at the Allotted institute
  • Candidate became Non-Eligible because of Change in Category
  • Candidates who have not opted for Up-Gradation
