NEET PG Dental/MDS (NEET MDS)

PGI MDS will be held on 4th June, 2017(Sunday). So, it’s time to set aside your anxiety and stress and gear up your preparation with your full strength. In this blog, we would like to provide you with some tips which can help you to complete your preparation within the limited time and you will be able to reach your zenith:

1. Avoid Stress:

During exam time, it is observed that many students try hard but don’t get the desired result only because of their stressful condition. So, try to manage your anxiety in a proper way so that your hard work should be rewarded with a desired score and it should not be messed up due to your stressful state. You should carefully manage your headspace and emotions for avoiding your anxiety and depression.

2. Focus on your weak topics:

As we all know that practice makes man perfect, keep practicing and if you don’t practice, you don’t deserve a good score. The more you practice, the more you learn and by practicing you will be acquainted with your mistakes and your weak topics. Do revisethe most important subjects i.e. Orthodontics, Pedodontics and Community preventive dentistry well before the exam.

 

3. Practice Mock tests:

You should practice Mock Tests prior to the final examination to practice what you have learned and to be prepared during your exam. This will help you to recognize your mistakes and your weak areas which need more focus. As PGI MDS exam contains 100 questions with a time period of 1hr 30 minutes, many students are not able to complete their paper within this allotted time. 4. Don’t burden yourself with new topics at the last moment:

You should not start with a new topic which you have never studied before because it may generate an immense trouble by affecting your whole preparation. So, don’t get perplexed by taking up too many new things or topics at the last moment as it’s time to revise your topics that you have learned before rather than to acquire new concepts .

5. Make a proper strategy:

Everyone knows that a positive attitude will lead to a positive outcome, that‘s why, you should always retain a positive attitude towards your exam. Try to frame an exam strategy so that you can give your best. Always be relaxed, cool and calm and try to avoid your panic condition because calm mind brings inner strength and self-confidence.

6. Take proper sleep on the night before the exam:

Take a sound sleep before your exam day. It will  reset your brain and  enhance your memory with power to judge. A sound sleep will rejuvenate you and you will be able to attend your exam with a fresh mind.

7. Block out any distractions:

During the time of study, you should manage a distraction free zone to prepare effectively because every minute is thought to be essential to complete your preparation. You should know better which things may distract you, avoid all those things during your preparation and maintain an environment where you feel comfortable to study.

8. Take care of Negative Marking:

You should not make wild guesses and attempt too many questions if you don’t know the proper answer because negative marking is there in PGI MDS Exam -2017.You should attempt those questions only which you are  100% sure and try attempting those where you can eliminate alteast two options. If you attempt too many questions without giving the right answer, it will reduce your score.

9. Be ready with your important documents:

Keep ready all your important documents i.e. admit card and photo identity proof before your exam day to avoid unnecessary tension. You should not wait till the last moment to collect your documents rather keep them ready before hand.
