How will it benefit NEET-PG 2018 students..?

The decision is likely to benefit about 18000 students who will now get chance to take admission in post graduation and will also help in minimizing the wastage of seats.

The Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda happily accepted the decision and said, ”This is a significant step towards strengthening the medical sector and indicates the priority given by the government to the health sector.”

This move to reduce qualifying marks for PG and SS Medical course has been taken for the second year in a row. Last year, the government had reduced the cut-off percentile by 7.5 to fill up vacant postgraduate and super-specialty seats.
