Yes it did. I always practice lots of mcq from PrepLadder. I also gave lots of exam of PrepLadder; it helps during revising and practicing mcqs. And the mock exam conducted by PrepLadder has also proved to be very helpful.

Absolutely not. I was an average student during my UG.

Avoid excessive negative marking.
What was your exam taking strategy? How many questions did you attempt in JIPMER?
I revise the last 2 exam paper and revise the volatile subjects like biochemistry, psychiatry just day before exam. Like every exam, JIPMER also have some high yield areas like embryology, new drug etc. you should revise that before exam. I attempted 230 questions.

Multiple revision and the practicing exams are the key. Believe in yourself, if I can improve my rank from 21565 in NEET PG 20018 to JIPMER-30, just in 2-3 month after being an average student. Then everybody can improve their rank.
