This is not a predicted rank, this rank is taken from official sources and can be trusted.

PrepLadder State ranks might vary from the Actual State Merit lists since the States will compile their Merit lists after applying the Reservation Policies, Regulations and Guidelines applicable in the concerned states. Other aspects such as rural postings and benefits for in-service candidates might be considered by the states while compiling their Merit lists.

Some states release their merit list on the basis of Domicile while others release their merit list on the basis of Domicile + State of Graduation.

So PrepLadder is releasing 2 state ranks for each candidate. One on the basis of Domicile and second on the basis of Domicile + State of Graduation. One of these will be your rank in official merit list according to the concerned state policy.

Our State Merit lists will provide you an idea of the number of competitors ahead of you in the State and a general idea of the chances of your selection in counseling.
