Stay away from social media: Take 6 hours of sleep a day, try to eat healthy and when you decide to take a break, go for a walk instead of going on social media.

Doing just this will help you focus better and reduce stress.


Concentrate on your notes: Do not study from any online medium or any reference book at this time. Concentrate on your notes and trust them blindly.


Don’t take anymore mock tests: Mock exams are supposed to give you an idea about your weak topics, however this is not the time to study any new topic. Moreover, poor performance in a mock exam can stress you out.


Do not let depression get to you: Most students at this time feel that they’ve forgotten everything, this thought doesn’t let them sleep and reduce their overall output.

We want to tell you that you’re not alone, it happens with most of students at this stage.

Stay confident, you have not forgotten anything, it’s just in your subconscious memory. You will instinctively know the answer in the exam.


Keep volatile topics for last day: Just go through the Numerical based values, Formulas and IPC codes, Tables of Harrison etc. on the final day (maybe till the time you enter the exam hall).

Do not forget to carry the following:

The following things are required to be carried to the exam centre:

1. Admit card with your photograph affixed on it.

  • Size of photograph should be min. 35*45 mm with at least 75% coverage of the face.
  • According to the clause 8.4 in the NBE information Bulletin for NEET PG 2018, A caption with the name of the candidate and date of capturing photograph should be there at the bottom of the photograph.

2. Photocopy of the permanent / temporary Medical Council Registration Certificate or original screening test pass certificate on NBE Letterhead if you are a FMG candidate without the medical Council certificate.

3. Original ID proof

Your ID proof can consist of any of the following:

  • Aadhar card
  • PAN card
  • Voter’s card
  • Driving License
  • Passport

Just make sure you carry original ID with the photo clearly visible on it

The name on the ID must match with the name as seen in the Admit card.

If there is a change in name carry supporting documents.

If you are carrying e-Adhar card, go for a coloured printout.

Do check the validity of your ID proof i.e it should not be an expired one.


Don't carry the following:

You should not carry following things to the examination hall:

  • Items like wallets, glares, handbags, cap, belt etc.
  • Oranments including earrings
  • Watches
  • Any eatable items, water bottles, soft drinks  etc.
  • Mobile phones, pen, paper etc.


Other Important Things

  • The exam starts exactly at 9:30 AM and you are required to report 2 hours prior to the reporting time i.e 7:30 AM.
  • You’ll not be allowed entry to the examination hall after 9AM under any circumstances.
