Army Dental Corps has invited application from Indian citizens, both male and female who have completed their final BDS examination & completed compulsory rotatory internship, for the designation of Short Service Commissioned Officer in the Army Dental Corps.

Eligibility Criteria

(i) Candidate must be a citizen of India.

(ii) Candidate should not be more than 45 years of age as on 31 Dec 2018 i.e maximum permissible age for this post is 45 years.

(iii) Candidate must have completed BDS/MDS (with at least 55% in BDS) from any college or university recognized by DCI.

(iv) Candidates must have registered themselves as Registered Dental Practitioners with any State Dental Council.

(v) Candidates must have completed a one-year compulsory rotatory internship on or before 31 March 2018. No condonation of internship of one-year period shall be accepted except:

  • Students of batch admitted during the academic session 2007-2008 & have completed four & a half year BDS course along with 6 months compulsory rotator internship, and
  • Students admitted during the academic session 2006-2007 at Rajah Muthiah Dental College, Annamalai University & have completed 5 years BDS Course without internship.

(vi) Permanent or Provisional Dental Registration certificate of the candidate from State Dental Council/ DCi should be valid at least up to 31 Dec 2018.

(vii) Candidate must have appeared for NEET MDS 2018 conducted by NBE, New Delhi on 7 Jan 2018.

(viii) Should be declared medically fit by the Medical Board, in all respects for service in Armed Forces Medical Services

Eligible candidates are requested to enclose a non-refundable Demand Draft of any Nationalized Bank only for Rs. 200/-(Rupees Two Hundred only) payable at New Delhi in favour of “Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (APF Fund)/ DGAFMS (APF Fund).
