Hello, please tell us something about yourself.

Hii, I am Faraj Mohammed, I studied from Mar Baselios Dental College, kothamangalam, Kerala. My NEET score was 914.0986. By Allah's grace, I secured 1st rank in NEET MDS.

What do you think is the correct approach to study for NEET MDS? Only MCQ's or Theory+MCQ's?

Be sincere, put maximum effortyou can and pray regularly. Read from text books and revise regularly. I studied in dental pulse academy, theory classes were very informative and useful.

When should the preparation ideally be started?

I started my preparation from mid March.

Please list the books you studied for each subject.

I would suggest to read theory textbooks for pre-clinical subjects and then MCQ's of course.
For clinical subjects try to learn from Entrance textbooks, especially Dental pulse , Dentest and target mds.
Also try to read from standard textbooks.
Books that should not be avoided while preparing for NEET MDS are Neeraj wadhwan, Mudith khanna, Ashish Gupta and Amit tripati.

Have you attempted AIPGDEE previously? If yes, what did you do different this year that lead to your success.

Yes, I  attempted once in 2013 which was also neet.

How big is the role of practice and revision while preparing for NEET MDS and how much time should be dedicated for it?

Revision is the key to success in NEET MDS. Don't count the time you spend in learning simply enjoy the process. Someday your output may be more and sometimes it may be less. Don't worry about that, just go on studying.

Did PrepLadder play a part in your success? If yes, how?

Yes Ofcourse, PrepLadder played a major role. It was really helpful since we get exposure to a lot of standard questions similar to NEET MDS Exam. It also helped me in time management while preparing.

Did you use a time table/study plan to keep your preparation on track?

Yes, I tried to complete every subject in one week and I would gather maximum data from all the available books in this one week for the particular subject.

Were you a topper or a mediocre student during graduation?
