NEET PG Dental/MDS (NEET MDS)


Here is an important notice for candidates who appeared in NEET to seek admission in MDS.

Earlier, according to Govt of India Notification No V.12025/181/2016- DE dated May 11, 2017, DCI had declared the decision of lowering the qualifying percentile of NEET MDS 2017 by 7.5 percentile for all categories. This created alot of confusion among the appeared candidates .

Now, NBE has released a revised result cum score card.

Important Points:

  • Candidates who score more than or equal to revised category-wise cut-off scores are declared as qualified.
  • A unique Revised All India NEET-MDS 2017 Rank have been assigned to qualified candidates in descending order of their scores and utilizing the tie breaker criteria mentioned in para 13.4 of NEET-MDS 2017 Information Bulletin.
  • As the revised Score card will not be sent individually to the candidates, hence, candidates are asked to download their score cards.
  • There is no change in the result for All India 50% MDS quota seats for NEET-MDS 2017.
  • The revised result will also be shared with all States/UT of India. The final merit list/category wise merit list for State quota seats will be produced by the States/UT/Institutes as per their eligibility criteria, reservation policy and applicable guidelines/Regulations.
  • Admission is purely provisional subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
