Hello, please tell us something about yourself.
Hello, I am Dr. Nirav Vyas. I am from Ahmedabad Gujarat. I got selected in Army Dental Corps this year and secured 8th rank.
What do you think is the correct approach to study for Army Dental Corps?
Besides getting a dignified rank in NEET MDS, confidence is what you need to crack Army dental corps interview because the way you present yourself is what that matters.
Moreover, you must have sound clinical and good general knowledge.
It is also important to be familiar with current affairs and must acquire the knowledge about the area or state where you reside.
How was your MDS Entrance Result?
I got 280th rank in November AIIMS 2016, 817th rank in NEET 2016, 97th rank in May AIIMS 2017 and 62nd rank in PGI 2017.
Please list the books you followed for your preparation.
I referred to the following books for preparation:
- Dental pulse
- AIPG Dental Entrance Examination by Neeraj Wadhwan
- Current dental examination
Did PrepLadder play a part in your success? If yes, how?
Daily quiz and All India mock test before AIIMS and NEET was very helpful to predict tentative rank. It’s a great platform to self-evaluate and analyze your performance.

Did you follow a time table/study plan to keep your preparation on track?
Yes, time table is very important in order to crack any exam. However, we all aren't same, so make your time table according to your strength and weaknesses and stick to it whatever it takes.

I just referred to current affairs for general knowledge and dental pulse book for clinical aspect.

What you conceive and believe, you can achieve.
