Dr. Neha: According to me PSM was the most difficult section in the exam followed closely by Pharmacology.
Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Biochemistry were the easiest sections
PrepLadder: Share the overall analysis of DNB CET 2016 ?
Dr. Neha: The paper contained a large number of one-liners. Clinical questions were few in contrast to the expectations.
PrepLadder: How many image-based questions were asked and elaborate on their difficulty level?
Dr. Neha: Overall, there were nearly 30-40 image-based questions most of which were of easy or moderate difficulty level.
PrepLadder: Did you benefit from PrepLadder’s mock test series?
Dr. Neha: Definitely. Question pattern in DNB exam and the difficulty level was very similar to PrepLadder’s mock tests.
PrepLadder: Was the topic wise weight age similar to that released by NBE prior to the exam?
Dr. Neha: NBE did not strictly follow the topic-wise distribution of questions it had released prior to the exam. In fact, some sections carried more weight age than they were supposed to.
PrepLadder: Did you face any difficulty using the exam software?
Dr. Neha: Being a PrepLadder alumni I did not face any difficulty in using the software.
Even though I attempted the DNB exam for the first time, I knew what to expect from the software.
PrepLadder: What conclusion could you reach from the session 1 of Day 1 DNB exam?
Dr. Neha: Session 1 of the day 1 DNB CET exam was on the difficult side.
I gave my best and I’m hoping for a good result.
We wish Dr. Neha Bansal and all other PrepLadder students the best of luck for their DNB CET attempt!
