I got a K/C/O COPD with acute exaberation in my PHC. The patient had basal crepts with obvious wheezing. What could i have done for the patient apart from nebulization and iv steroids before refering him to higher centre?

This case was probably complicated by some cardiac condition. You could have gotten an ECG and a CXR, giving diuretics would've eased the breathing a little.. Other than than IV steroids, nebulization and a BIPAP ventilation is a good option.
